| Karawanken Tunnel second tube, Austrian section The new tube is 7.948 km long, of which 4.402 km lies in Austria. The mapped Austrian section measures about 4.45 km and ends at the state border. The ceremonial opening was on 18 March 2026; traffic moved into the new tube from 20 March and the transfer was complete by 27 March.
