Gloggnitz–Mürzzuschlag tunnel

ÖBB reports that the final breakthrough in the Gloggnitz section took place on 29 November 2024. Technical tunnel equipment works began in summer 2025. The tunnel is scheduled to open at the end of 2029; ÖBB says the first trains will run in 2030. The mapped OSM tunnel line measures 27.1 km, close to the sourced 27.3 km. This lot records the full tunnel route; individual construction-contract scopes are not split because their route lengths are not stated on the project overview.
