Svilaj bridge over the Sava

One structure across the state border, built jointly under an agreement between the Croatian Government and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina; each state finances 50% of the contracted works, which HAC gives as EUR 22,308,022.34 excluding VAT. HAC does not say which party built which part, and names Hering d.d. Široki Brijeg as the contractor. Works ran from September 2016 to July 2020. The bridge opened on 30 September 2021, together with the A5 approach and the border crossing. Signing date of the contract is not given by HAC, so no award entry is recorded. Drawn geometry measures about 644 m against the 660 m HAC figure and includes the Bosnian half. The Croatian approach lot in the A5 project ends at the northern abutment.
