| Akalla–Barkarby Region Stockholm’s 2026 review assesses traffic launch in Q4 2028 and a project-specific final cost of SEK 9.9 billion at current price levels. Its 2024 annual report records accumulated outturn of SEK 5,476 million through December 2024 in current prices; this is interim expenditure, not final cost. By 16 February 2022, both Barkarby stations had been excavated, and about 70% of rock excavation along the full extension was complete. In August 2023 the contractor terminated the rock and civil works contract, which the project administration then counterterminated. | Under construction | 4 km |
