A 26 Linzer Autobahn
The A 26 is being built in stages between the Linz-Hummelhof interchange and Donau Nord. The Donautalbrücke opened as an initial section in 2024; the Freinberg tunnel section is under construction, and the Westbrücke connection to A 7 is planned for 2033–2035.

| Freinberg tunnel section ASFINAG lists construction from July 2026 to December 2032 for the Freinberg tunnel section, including the station junction and Waldeggstraße underpass. The route map gives the tunnel length as 3,200 m. The OSM line follows this section between the Donautalbrücke and Westbrücke and measures about 3.25 km.
