A4 Maritsa Motorway

A 117 km motorway in southern Bulgaria linking the Trakia motorway (A1) near Chirpan to the Turkish border at Kapitan Andreevo, on Pan-European Corridor IV and European route E80. It opened in phases between October 2010 and October 2015. The western sections, Chirpan–Haskovo and Haskovo–Harmanli, were co-funded by the EU; the eastern sections were financed nationally.
