CNAIR counts 11.636 km as expressway; the full connection built under the same contract is about 19 km, the remainder being a 2×2 national road with a median separator. Strabag designed and built it under a July 2021 contract worth 545.9 million lei excluding VAT, on a 30-month schedule (6 months design, 24 months execution). It opened in March 2024 and includes 3 interchanges, 3 bridges, 6 overpasses and 2 underpasses.
