Dugo Selo – Novska railway second track (M103)

Signed on 1 October 2026 in Banski dvori. The €677 million is the works contract; the project of about €900 million also covers documentation, land purchase and supervision. The press reports do not say whether the figures include VAT. Duration: five years and ten months. Four subsections: Dugo Selo – Ivanić-Grad, Ivanić-Grad – Popovača, Popovača – Kutina and Kutina – Novska. HŽ Infrastruktura expects works to start in the first half of 2027, so no construction start is recorded. The €289.0 million CEF grant agreement covers only Ivanić-Grad – Kutina (42 km) and includes project management, land, works and supervision. Drawn geometry follows the existing single track.

Renovation of the double-track line between Okučani and Novska (about 16.8 km), the Okučani station (about 3 km) and the Rajić stop, on the RH1 corridor east of Novska. It lies on the M104 line, not on M103, and is not part of the Dugo Selo – Novska project. Salcef's works contract was €25,726,700; the signalling and telecommunications contract with Bombardier Transportation Italy was €8,566,800 and added ETCS level 1; supervision by DB International with Granova cost €1,812,481. Total project value €36,105,981. Contractors were chosen in an international tender in 2012. Works began in September 2012 and the project was completed in 2017. Length measured from OpenStreetMap geometry is not used: the 16.8 km is the figure given by HŽ Infrastruktura.
