| Görbeháza (M3) – Debrecen-észak NIF names this stretch Görbeháza – Debrecen (35 km) and opened it on 15 December 2006; it also gives the tolled part of the motorway as km 0 to 36.6, and 36.6 km is used here. The Debrecen bypass beyond it is the next lot. NIF records a construction contract signed on 19 October 2004 with STRABAG Rt., design by UVATERV Rt. and supervision by FŐBER Rt., with a completion deadline of 30 November 2006; the release lists these once for the whole motorway, does not say which section the contract covers and gives no value. The M3 junction at Görbeháza belongs to the M3 project. | Opened | 37 km |

| Debrecen bypass (Debrecen-észak – Debrecen-dél) The Debrecen bypass was the second design section, with its building permit dated 16 December 2003, and NIF says it opened to traffic in spring 2006; en.wikipedia gives April 2006. The exact day is not in the sources found. Length is 44.0 km (en.wikipedia, Görbeháza – Debrecen-dél) minus 36.6 km (NIF km post for the first stretch). The drawn OpenStreetMap line is 6.4 km. NIF does not say which contractor built it. | Opened | 7 km |

| Debrecen-dél (Route 4) – Mikepércs (Route 481) Phase I of the Debrecen – Berettyóújfalu extension: 2x2 lanes with hard shoulder, junctions with Route 4 and Route 481 and 3 bridges. Built by the Colas Hungária – Colas Út consortium for a net HUF 17.2 bn; the NIF page gives HUF 17,237,474,262. The signing date is not given, so the award is dated 2016, and the construction start is from hu.wikipedia (May 2016). Opened to traffic on 13 December 2017. The Route 481 link built under the same project (5.5 km, STR Építő Kft., HUF 4.9 bn) is not part of the motorway and is not recorded here. The drawn OpenStreetMap line between the two junction nodes is 4.7 km against the sourced 5.43 km. | Opened | 5 km |

Built by the Hódút – Duna Aszfalt consortium; the NIF project page gives a net contract value of HUF 46,990,610,185, and the 2018 release gives net HUF 46.9 bn for M35 phase II and HUF 15.2 bn for the first phase of M4. The signing date is not given, so the award is dated 2016; the foundation stone was laid in summer 2016. Opened on 20 December 2018, free of charge until 31 December 2018. The M4 junction at Berettyóújfalu and the M4 section to the border are other projects; M4 is not recorded in this repository. | Opened | 19 km |
