A4 motorway (Constanța bypass)

Bypass of Constanța, 22 km from Ovidiu to the Port of Constanța, meeting the A2 at an interchange southwest of the city. It opened in stages between 2011 and 2013 and includes a bridge over the Danube–Black Sea Canal that gives direct access to the port's southern terminal. A planned extension south along the coast past Mangalia to the Bulgarian border would take it to about 60 km, as part of an extension of Pan-European Corridor IV towards Varna.
