Cluj-Napoca Metro Line M1 (Florești – Cluj-Napoca)
Driverless light metro under construction from Florești through Mănăștur and the centre of Cluj-Napoca to Piața Mărăști, where it splits into a Muncii branch and a Sopor branch with the depot: 21.03 km and 19 underground stations. One design-and-build contract with the Gülermak – Alstom – Arcada association was signed on 25 May 2023, with a term of 96 months. Construction was launched at a ceremony on 5 June 2024. The first stage (Sfânta Maria – Europa Unită, 9.16 km, 9 stations and the depot) was financed from the PNRR with an end date of August 2026; the mayor's target for the whole line is 2031.

| Line M1: Florești – Piața Mărăști – Sopor / Muncii Order to start the contract issued for 1 September 2023, opening the design phase. Construction works were launched at a ceremony on 5 June 2024. In May 2026 diaphragm walls were under way at Teilor station, and a 2026 report cited by local media put physical progress at about 1.24%. The first stage (Sfânta Maria – Europa Unită, 9.16 km) was due by the end of August 2026 under the PNRR; the second stage (Țara Moților – Sfânta Maria and Piața Mărăști – Muncii, 11.87 km) completes the line, with 2031 as the mayor's date for the whole metro.
