A5 Morava Corridor (Pojate – Preljina)

Serbia's 112.4 km east–west motorway along the West and South Morava valleys, linking the A1 at Pojate to the A2 at Preljina. A Bechtel–ENKA joint venture built it as a single design-build package from 2020; sections opened in stages from 2023, and as of mid-2026 the corridor is complete apart from the Vrba–Adrani gap. Lots here follow the motorway's numbered interchanges, which is how JP Putevi Srbije describes the openings, rather than the contract's own nine construction sectors, which were bounded by river crossings and chainage; Koševi–Vrnjačka Banja is therefore one section, carrying the Koševi, Velika Drenova, Trstenik and Vrnjačka Banja interchanges, and Koševi is the same place as Kruševac in official usage. The two official sub-sections Pojate–Makrešane and Makrešane–Koševi meet at Makrešane, which has no mapped interchange, so the geometry is cut at the Kruševac East interchange about 3 km away. Lengths are measured from the mapped alignment except where Putevi Srbije publishes a figure for that exact section, which is preferred; the measured total of 112.32 km agrees with the published 112.4 km. The reported EUR 745 million contract value covers the whole corridor and is not broken out per section, so no per-lot cost is recorded.
