A4 Niš – Dimitrovgrad (E80)
Serbia's 105 km motorway from the A1 at Trupale near Niš to the Gradina border crossing with Bulgaria, the eastern branch (Xc) of Pan-European Corridor X and part of E80. The first 3 km opened in 1992 and the Niš bypass in 2006; the remaining 86 km was built from 2010 by Koridori Srbije and opened in stages between 2017 and 9 November 2019, when Bancarevo – Crvena Reka completed the route. Lots follow the section names and lengths of the construction table on Serbian Wikipedia; the drawn centreline totals 103.67 km. No section cost is recorded: the Ekonomske Vesti report of the 2019 opening gives about EUR 476 million, but it is unclear whether that covers the Prosek – Crvena Reka section or the whole 86.9 km east branch. The railway between Niš and Dimitrovgrad is a separate project.
