Belgrade – Zrenjanin – Novi Sad motorway (A6)
A 105.4 km motorway from Belgrade (Ovča) through Zrenjanin to Novi Sad, in two sections: Belgrade (Ovča) – Zrenjanin, 67.66 km, and Zrenjanin – Novi Sad, 37.74 km, the last 5.5 km of which is an expressway from the toll gate before the Kać interchange to the Novi Sad East interchange. The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure lists China Shandong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group as contractor under a framework commercial agreement of 10 November 2023, and reports that preparatory works are under way at about 5% physical progress. Only the Belgrade – Zrenjanin section is modelled. The 37.74 km Zrenjanin – Novi Sad section is not drawn: OpenStreetMap maps only about 15 km of it as a rough outline, so it is not recorded as a lot. The ministry gives an estimated investment value of EUR 1 596.35 million for the project.
