Divača–Koper second railway track

2TDK signed separate main civil works contracts: Divača–Črni Kal on 5 May 2021 and Črni Kal–Koper on 31 March 2021, both with the Kolektor CPG, Yapı Merkezi and Özaltın consortium. GZS reports EUR 403,613,361.12 excluding VAT for the Divača–Črni Kal contract. For Črni Kal–Koper, eTransport reported EUR 224.749 million excluding VAT in 2021. In February 2025, 2TDK reported a revised value of EUR 250,970,313.16 excluding VAT and an increase of EUR 23,293,438.75 from the preceding value. The 2025 page does not reconcile the earlier report's different figure. These are civil works contract values, not the total project cost, and are not placed in the whole-route cost field. The 27.1 km length is the official route length; the OSM line is about 24.6 km and stops short of the complete official alignment. RTV Slovenija reported on 17 September 2026 that main works were expected to finish by year-end, followed by testing and permits; the line was not yet open.
