Hrvatski Leskovac – Karlovac railway (M202, second track)

The project page states 44.0 km and 11 stages. STRABAG completed eight: the Lazina and Ribnjak underpasses, the Pavučnjak, Domagović, Cvetković and Zdenčina overpasses, the Orlovac – Ilovac unclassified road and the Mrzlo Polje traction substation. The remaining three stages (track, stations and halts, bridges and viaducts, the Bedekova underpass) went to COMSA S.A.: selection decision 6 February 2026, contract signed 17 April 2026, EUR 278,849,960.28 excluding VAT (EUR 348,562,450.35 including VAT), 36 months. The first works contracts were signed on 28 July 2022 with the STRABAG consortium (STRABAG AG, STRABAG d.o.o., STRABAG Rail a.s.) and AŽD Praha s.r.o., about 2.72 billion kuna in total ("dvije milijarde i 721 milijun kuna"); STRABAG's selected bid after a repeated procedure was HRK 1,713,193,222.13 excluding VAT. Both contracts are in kuna and are not recorded as money fields. No page gives the reason the last three stages were re-tendered, a termination, a construction start, or the extents of the stages, so none are recorded and the lot is not split. The line stays in operation as single track until the second track is built. Design speed 160 km/h, except 120 and 140 km/h around Mavračići, Jastrebarsko and Karlovac. Length measured from OpenStreetMap geometry between the two stations is about 41.8 km; the sourced 44.0 km is kept.
