Hum-Lug – Gornja Stubica renewal

Contract signed on 2 June 2026. The €16 million covers €13 million for the track and €3 million for four bridges and three culverts. The first phase covers the track grid, drainage, stops and level crossings, with a two-year deadline; buildings, including station buildings, may follow in a second phase. A board member of Pružne građevine said works were expected to start in the autumn of 2026, so no construction start is recorded. Line speed is to rise to 80 km/h. This is the local line Zabok – Gornja Stubica (L202), a branch off R201 at Hum-Lug, not R201 itself. Length of 11 km as stated by HŽ Infrastruktura; the drawn line, measured from OpenStreetMap geometry, is 10.6 km.
