| Kecskemét (M5 interchange – road 5) Second stage of the Kecskemét–Szentkirály section: a full cloverleaf interchange where the M44 meets the M5, plus 1.8 km of 2x2 expressway. Until it opens the M44 and M5 connect only towards Budapest at the Kecskemét-Centrum junction. The investment portal gives construction start 13 May 2024, a completion deadline of 28 February 2027 and a net contract sum of HUF 41,981,774,352. The contract date is not given, so the figure has no price year and no award revision is recorded. The drawn length covers only the mapped construction ways and is shorter than the sourced 1.8 km. | Under construction | 2 km |

| Szentkirály – Lakitelek 4.6 km of 2x2 expressway without hard shoulder. A second Közgép contract of HUF 8.12 billion covers 20.3 km of road 44 and is not recorded here. Design and build began in February 2020 (month only given) and the section opened on 7 May 2024. The contract date is not given, so the figure has no price year and no award revision is recorded. | Opened | 5 km |
