Rail Baltica in Poland: Warszawa Rembertów – Sadowne – Czyżew – Białystok – Ełk (lines 449, 6 and 38, E75)
Modernisation of the existing Warszawa – Białystok – Ełk railway for 160–200 km/h, the Polish part of the E75 corridor towards Lithuania. PKP PLK splits it into stages, each with its own contract and EU Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) project: Warszawa Rembertów – Sadowne (main works finished 2015), Sadowne – Czyżew (contract 2017, second track in service 30 December 2019), Czyżew – Białystok (contract 26 June 2020, works at the finishing stage in January 2025) and Białystok – Ełk (contract signed 15 September 2026). The Ełk – Trakiszki (Lithuanian border) section is still at design stage and is not drawn. Lots are drawn on one track of the existing line from OpenStreetMap. Contract values are net of VAT where PLK states it; the net and gross values, and the contract and the whole CEF project, are different figures and are kept apart in the lot notes.

| Warszawa Rembertów – Zielonka – Wołomin – Tłuszcz – Sadowne Draws the line from the junction of line 449 at Rembertów through Zielonka, Wołomin and Tłuszcz to Sadowne Węgrowskie. PLK dates the end of the main works to 2015 and reports 4 stations and 14 stops rebuilt, more than 60 km of track replaced, 8 bridges and 24 level crossings; trains returned to Tłuszcz – Sadowne on 13 December 2015 after a closure from 12 October 2014 (pl.wikipedia). PLK's press release of 27 May 2014 gives the project as more than 66 km of line. The PLN 1.5 billion cost is a PAP statement quoted by Forsal in March 2018. Grade-separated crossings continue under CEF project 2014-PL-TMC-0182-W, whose period runs to December 2024, and separate contracts were let for them, for example five signed on 19 May 2017 with PW Banimex and Budrex-Kobi (pl.wikipedia); these are not priced here. The contracts for the individual sub-sections (Rembertów – Wołomin, Wołomin – Tłuszcz, Tłuszcz – Sadowne) were not found, so the stage is one lot. | Opened | 66 km |

| Sadowne – Czyżew Contract signed 13 June 2017 for over PLN 641 million (VAT basis not stated), PLN 467 million of it from CEF, under project 2014-PL-TMC-0182-W. Scope: Małkinia and Sadowne stations, 12 platforms, about 70 km of single track, 11 level crossings, 3 bridges including a new bridge over the Bug and a second track on Prostyń Bug – Małkinia, and a local control centre at Małkinia. PLK says the second track was handed over on 30 December 2019 and Railway Gazette reports a PLN 560 million modernisation completed that day on 38.9 km Sadowne Węgrowskie – Czyżew; PLK's own page speaks of more than 36 km modernised, and its press release of 24 January 2020 gives PLN 569 million for the investment. The start of construction is not stated in the sources found. The drawn track, cut at the Czyżew station node, is 1.7% longer than the sourced 38.9 km; the sourced length is kept. | Opened | 39 km |

| Czyżew – Białystok Contract signed 26 June 2020 for over PLN 3.3 billion net. Over 71 km of line for 200 km/h: 5 stations rebuilt (Czyżew, Szepietowo, Łapy, Racibory, Białystok), a new station at Baciuty, 11 stops, a 200 m bridge over the Narew and grade-separated crossings. The sources describe two CEF phases (projects 2015-PL-TM-0002-W and 2019-PL-TMC-0322-W). Works were planned for 2020–2023. Later PLK releases give the value of the whole investment as almost PLN 3.4 billion and move the end of works to 2024 (19 July 2024: 24 of 25 road crossings ready, works at Białystok and Łapy continuing). On 14 January 2025 PLK wrote that work on the section was "obecnie są na ukończeniu"; no completion notice or later release was found, so the status follows that last source and no opening date is recorded. Opened in stages: platforms at Białystok and Białystok Zielone Wzgórza from September 2023, and the rebuilt Białystok station fully in use from September 2024. The drawn track starts at the Czyżew station node and is 8% shorter than the sourced 71 km, which PLK counts as 71.24 km of track from the Podlaskie border west of Czyżew; the Czyżew and Białystok stations are about 65.5 km apart on line 6 (pl.wikipedia). The sourced length is kept. | Under construction | 71 km |
