S61 expressway Via Baltica (Ostrów Mazowiecka – Łomża – Ełk – Suwałki – Budzisko)
The Polish part of the Via Baltica (E67), from the Podborze junction on the S8 near Ostrów Mazowiecka to the Lithuanian border at Budzisko, drawn as one centreline from OpenStreetMap ways tagged S61. Lots follow the GDDKiA contract sections and are all open: from the Augustów bypass in 2014 to the Łomża bypass in 2024 (full standard in 2025). Each lot is its own contract with its own opening date. The one-carriageway Stawiski bypass (2013) and the DK63 and DK64 spurs built in the Łomża contracts are not split out or drawn. Contract values come from GDDKiA pages and pl.wikipedia, and each says where the VAT basis is not stated.

| Podborze – Śniadowo (from the S8) Starts at the Podborze junction with the S8 and includes the Komorowo junction; the works also rebuilt about 3 km of the existing S8. Best offer chosen on 21 November 2019. GDDKiA gave the value of the 2020 contract as nearly 750 mln zł, which is not an exact figure and is not recorded as a cost. pl.wikipedia dates the permanent traffic organisation to 13 August 2024. The drawn centreline is 3% longer than the sourced 19.46 km. | Opened | 19 km |

| Śniadowo – Łomża Południe Includes the Śniadowo junction. No contract value is given on the MSBD page. pl.wikipedia gives 11 October 2018 as the signing date, but the MSBD page dates the contract to 9 February 2018 and gives 11 October 2018 for the terminated Łomża Zachód – Kolno contract, so the MSBD date is used. The drawn centreline is 4% shorter than the sourced length. | Opened | 17 km |

| Łomża Południe – Łomża Zachód (Łomża bypass, southern part) Includes the Łomża Południe junction, where the 8.9 km DK63 spur to Zambrów starts; the spur is not drawn and not counted in the length. The contract value is stated as more than 218.1 mln zł. pl.wikipedia gives 22 December 2017 for the signing (the GDDKiA release and MSBD give 21 December) and dates the opening to 2 June 2023, after the Łomża Zachód junction was finished; the MSBD date of the main carriageways is used. The drawn centreline is 7% shorter than the sourced length. | Opened | 7 km |

| Łomża Zachód – Kolno (Łomża bypass, northern part, with the Narew bridge) Includes the Nowogród and Łomża Północ junctions and the 1.2 km bridge over the Narew valley (1,205 m per pl.wikipedia). The 6.96 km DK64 Łomża Północ – Elżbiecin road built in the same contract is not drawn and not counted. The offer chosen on 23 March 2022 was 713.4 mln zł (pl.wikipedia); the contract value is not stated separately, so no cost is recorded. The sourced S61 length is 12.92 km (MSBD); pl.wikipedia gives 12.99 km. The drawn centreline is 1% longer than the sourced length. | Opened | 13 km |

| Kolno – Stawiski Includes the Kolno junction, where DK63 joins; the 2.25 km DK63 stretch is not drawn and not counted. The contract also covered the second carriageway of part of the Stawiski bypass, whose first carriageway opened on 19 December 2013; that part is not split out. The contract value is the construction contract value quoted by GDDKiA on 31 October 2017. The drawn centreline is 5% shorter than the sourced length. | Opened | 16 km |

| Stawiski – Szczuczyn (to the Szczuczyn bypass) Starts after the Stawiski junction, includes the Grabowo junction and ends where the Szczuczyn bypass begins. The contract also covered the second carriageway of part of the Stawiski bypass (first carriageway opened on 19 December 2013), which is not split out. The end of the lot is not at a mapped node: the boundary is placed by the sourced length, about 3.9 km before the OSM Szczuczyn junction. The drawn centreline is 1% shorter than the sourced 18 km. | Opened | 18 km |

| Contract value zł342.1M |
| Szczuczyn bypass Includes the Szczuczyn junction. Built as one carriageway with reserve for the second. The second carriageway (6.59 km, Polaqua, contract of 26 May 2017, lowest offer 75.08 mln zł) opened on 15 May 2020 under CEF funding. Length 8 km per pl.wikipedia. The ends are not at mapped nodes: the boundaries are placed by the sourced length, about 3.9 km before and 3.6 km after the OSM Szczuczyn junction. The second carriageway was added over 2.897 km from the Łomża side and 3.691 km from the Grajewo side (MSBD). The drawn centreline is 6% shorter than the sourced length. | Opened | 8 km |

Co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility. The drawn centreline is 5% shorter than the sourced length. | Opened | 23 km |

| Contract value zł686.86M |
| Wysokie – Raczki Ends at the Raczki junction, where the S61 meets DK8. Co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility. The Wysokie end is taken at the Kalinowo junction (OSM old name Wysokie), which MSBD lists in this lot. The drawn centreline is 10% shorter than the sourced length. | Opened | 20 km |

| Contract value zł484.29M |
| Raczki – Suwałki Południe (Augustów bypass, S61 part) The two-carriageway S61 part of the Augustów bypass, from the Raczki junction to the Suwałki Południe junction. The 659 mln zł contract (gross) covers the whole 34.23 km bypass, including 21.48 km of single-carriageway DK8 and a 2.4 km county road link, so it is not the cost of this lot alone and is not recorded as such.
