Bucharest Metro Line M3 (Preciziei – Anghel Saligny)
The east to west line of the Bucharest Metro, made of two branches that own no track between them. The western branch from Eroilor to Industriilor, now Preciziei, opened on 19 August 1983 as a branch of M1; the eastern branch from Nicolae Grigorescu to Anghel Saligny was started in 1988, abandoned in 1996 with the tunnels flooded, restarted in 2004 and opened in November 2008. The two ran as separate shuttles until 4 July 2009, when they were joined over the M1 tracks between Eroilor and Nicolae Grigorescu. Metrorex therefore gives the line as 13.53 km plus 8.67 km shared with M1.
