Bucharest – Constanța railway (CFR Line 800) upgrade

Upgrade of CFR's main line between Bucharest and the Black Sea port of Constanța, via Ciulnița, Fetești and Medgidia. Since July 2014 passenger trains run at up to 160 km/h and freight trains at up to 120 km/h on most of the route; the fastest trains cover the 225 km between Bucharest and Constanța in under two hours.
