Bucharest North – Henri Coandă Airport (Otopeni) rail link
Rail link connecting Bucharest's main station, Gara de Nord, with Henri Coandă International Airport at Otopeni, opened in December 2020. The roughly 3 km new connection, including a 1.5 km viaduct over the DN1 national road, ends at a station in front of the airport's Arrivals terminal. Trains operated by CFR Călători and Transferoviar Călători run 24 hours a day, roughly every 40 minutes, with a journey time of about 20–25 minutes.
