CFR Line 300 rehabilitation, Rhine–Danube Corridor (Câmpina–Predeal and Coșlariu–Sighișoara)
Rehabilitation of two sections of CFR Line 300, part of the TEN-T Rhine–Danube Corridor, for speeds of up to 160 km/h. The 48 km Câmpina–Predeal mountain section was upgraded in 2007–2011 with ISPA co-funding, cutting Bucharest–Brașov journey times to 2 h 40 min. The nearly 100 km Coșlariu–Sighișoara section was rebuilt in 2012–2018 on a new alignment with new bridges and tunnels, among them the 969 m Daneș Tunnel, the longest railway tunnel built in Romania after 1989.
