Magistrala M1 a metroului din Sofia (Slivnitsa – Business Park Sofia)
Linia roșie și prima construită din metroul din Sofia, singurul metrou din Bulgaria. Primii 6,5 km cu cinci stații, de la Slivnitsa, prin cartierele Lyulin, până la Konstantin Velichkov, au fost deschiși pe 28 ianuarie 1998; Opalchenska a urmat în 1999, iar Serdika, sub Piața Sf. Nedelya, în 2000, aducând rețeaua la 8,1 km. Tronsoanele începute în 2005 și 2006 au dus linia spre est, pe sub centrul orașului, până la Mladost 1 în 2009, iar o prelungire de 2,7 km a ajuns la Business Park Sofia în mai 2015, aducând linia la 17,6 km și 16 stații. Între Slivnitsa și Mladost 1 împarte tunelurile cu magistrala M4, care se ramifică spre Aeroportul Sofia; o prelungire spre vest, dincolo de Lyulin, este în faza de planificare, dar nu a fost contractată.
