Prague Metro Line D (Náměstí Míru – Depo Písnice)
Prague's fourth metro line, an automatic line planned from Náměstí Míru on Line A through Pankrác on Line C to Depo Písnice in the south: 10.6 km with 10 stations. DPP, the city transit company, splits it into I.D1a Pankrác – Olbrachtova (under construction since 21 April 2022), I.D1b Olbrachtova – Nové Dvory (contract signed on 7 April 2026 for CZK 29.99 billion excluding VAT, works started in June 2026), I.D2 Nové Dvory – Depo Písnice and I.D3 Pankrác – Náměstí Míru. DPP expects the first operable stretch, Pankrác – Nové Dvory with 5 stations, to open in the second half of 2032. Olbrachtova station is now called Ryšánka.

| I.D1a Pankrác – Olbrachtova Pankrác and Olbrachtova stations (the latter renamed Ryšánka) with the mined tunnel between them and a connecting tunnel to Line C. The whole section is mined with the New Austrian Tunnelling Method, apart from the vestibules. The five-company consortium led by Subterra won the tender on the lowest price; DPP gives the bid as CZK 13.75 billion and does not state VAT, and the expected value was CZK 10.829 billion. DPP states that I.D1a and I.D1b form one operating unit, with Pankrác – Nové Dvory expected to open in the second half of 2032. | I.D1b Olbrachtova – Nové Dvory Nádraží Krč (surface, on a bridge), Nemocnice Krč (cut and cover) and Nové Dvory (mined) stations, with the running tunnels and the power system for Pankrác – Nové Dvory. DPP states a build time of 72 months on 13 sites; the two TBMs are launched from the Rezerva pit in Písnice, so the contract also covers running tunnels south of Nové Dvory under the future Libuš and Písnice stations, which lie in the I.D2 lot below. DPP lists 9,600 m of TBM drives, 2,600 m of mined tunnels and 102 m of cut-and-cover tunnels. The tender was launched on 30 May 2022 with an expected price of CZK 24.63 billion, and the signing was delayed by ÚOHS and court proceedings brought by unsuccessful bidders. DPP gave notice to proceed on signing; the ceremonial start was on 19 June 2026, and mining at Nové Dvory began on 18 September 2026. DPP expects Pankrác – Nové Dvory to open in the second half of 2032. Length measured from OpenStreetMap geometry (station to station). | Under construction 6 of 72 contracted months | 3 km |

| I.D2 Nové Dvory – Depo Písnice Libuš, Písnice and Depo Písnice stations and the Písnice depot. The running tunnels between Nové Dvory and Písnice are bored under the I.D1b contract, so the stations and the depot are the remaining works. DPP launched the tender for Libuš station in early October 2026 with an expected value of CZK 3.755 billion excluding VAT and 54 months from site handover; the other stations and the depot have no contractor. cs.wikipedia, citing the 2026 plan, gives construction of Nové Dvory – Libuš from 2027, Libuš – Písnice from 2028 and Písnice – Depo Písnice from 2029, and opening Pankrác – Písnice in 2032 and Písnice – Depo Písnice in 2034. No single opening date applies to the lot, so none is recorded. Length measured from OpenStreetMap geometry (Nové Dvory station to Depo Písnice station). | Planned | 4 km | – | – | – | – | – |
| I.D3 Pankrác – Náměstí Míru Nusle (working name Náměstí Bratří Synků) and Náměstí Míru stations, with the connection to Line A. cs.wikipedia, citing the 2026 plan, gives construction from 2029 and opening in 2036; DPP's own pages state no date for this stretch, so none is recorded. No tender has been launched and the city council decision of 2013 left this stretch undecided. The 10.6 km of the full line include this stretch. Length measured from OpenStreetMap geometry (from the Náměstí Míru station node to Pankrác). | Planned | 3 km | – | – | – | – | – |
