E65 Warszawa – Gdynia railway modernisation (line 9)
Modernisation of line 9 (Warszawa Wschodnia – Gdańsk Główny, 323.4 km) towards Gdynia for 160 km/h, or 200 km/h for tilting trains, under the Infrastructure and Environment programme; pl.wikipedia puts the cost at about PLN 10 billion and the period at 2006–2014. PKP PLK let it by local control centre area (LCS). The file holds the two areas whose works contract and kilometre range were found: Iława and Malbork, kilometre 184.800 to 287.700, about 103 km. Not modelled, for lack of a sourced kilometre range or works contract: Warszawa – Nasielsk, the Nasielsk, Ciechanów and Działdowo areas (the last a contract of about PLN 953 million with Grupa ZUE, 2010–2013, with no stated extent), and Malbork – Tczew – Gdańsk – Gdynia. Line 9 has existed since 1852–1877, so each lot is an upgrade of an open line.

| Iława area (LCS Iława): kilometre 184.800 – 236.920 (Zajączkowo Lubawskie – Susz) Contract signed 27 May 2011 for 52.1 km, quoted by PKP PLK as between Zajączkowo Lubawskie and Susz. The 22 January 2007 design contract for both areas covers line 9 from kilometre 184.800 to 287.700 and the Malbork contract starts at kilometre 236.920, so this lot is kilometre 184.800 – 236.920 (52.12 km). The drawn line is cut from the station kilometres on pl.wikipedia (Zajączkowo Lubawskie 189.504, Susz 232.428, Prabuty 242.297) and measures 51.5 km. Net value PLN 758,264,998.15, duration 30 months from signing. Iława and Malbork areas together are close to 103 km, with over 280 engineering structures and 68 level crossings removed across both. Planned completion in 2013 per the 2012 article. No completion date for this lot was found. The year 2014 is a latest bound, not an opening date: pl.wikipedia (Linia kolejowa nr 9) says "W latach 2006–2014 linia została gruntownie zmodernizowana" for the whole line, and Pendolino services have run on the line since 14 December 2014 (pl.wikipedia, Kolej dużych prędkości w Polsce), which that page does not tie to this section. | Opened | 52 km |

| Malbork area (LCS Malbork): kilometre 236.920 – 287.700 (to Szymankowo) Contract signed 27 May 2011 for kilometre 236.920 to 287.700 of line 9 (almost 51 km), quoted by PKP PLK as between Prabuty and Szymankowo; Prabuty station (kilometre 242.297 on pl.wikipedia) lies about 5 km inside the range. The drawn line is cut at kilometre 236.920 by station kilometres and ends at Szymankowo: it measures 49.6 km against the sourced 50.8 km, and the sourced figure is kept. Net value PLN 868,894,251.27, gross PLN 1,068,739,929.06, duration 30 months from the start of works, planned completion November 2013 (PKP PLK). | Opened | 51 km |
