Ungheni road bridges over the Prut

Two parallel steel-concrete composite bridges with continuous girders, one per direction; the longer is about 260 m (261.20 m in the building permit, of which 130.60 m in Romania). The contract also covers the link road to the A8 (about 1 km of route) and the border crossing point. Recorded length of 1.1 km is the 130km.ro figure for the assembly. It is a separate contract from the Iași – Ungheni section of the A8 (Itinera – Saipem – ICM). The 130km.ro figures for the two (15.47 km and 1.1 km) are separate, so this is not marked as part of it. The drawn line (0.98 km) follows OpenStreetMap ways tagged with this builder: the approach and the bridge, one carriageway. The western approach part overlaps the A8 lot's drawn line. 130km.ro lists the opening for 2026; an OpenStreetMap tag gives 1 December 2026, which is not an official date.
